形态描述
体粗壮，后部侧扁，渐细。头圆钝。吻宽扁。口阔，端位，下颌稍突。两颌齿绒毛状。舌游离，分叉。体被较大栉鳞。背鳍分离，第一背鳍的第二棘最长，常延长成丝状；腹鳍胸位，愈合成吸盘；尾鳍圆形。头后背部有4横行小黑斑。
生物学
This goby looks similar to Glossogobius giuris, but with more obtuse head and snout. An inshore fish, is commonly found in the river mouth in the southeast China.
